Expansion(s)

Inca Empire: bonus sun event cards (mini-expansion)

Description

The Inca called their empire “Tahuantinsuyu” which is their word for “Land of the Four Regions”. In
this game, you assume the role of an “Apu” - a leader of one of the four regions or “Suyus”. Your job as an Apu is to increase your status in the eyes of the divine emperor (“Sapa Inca”) by doing the best job of expanding and improving the empire. Each Apu begins with the manpower of their region of the original empire. They build roads and conquer neighboring regions increasing the manpower and resources available to them. Apus are rewarded for each new Region they add to the empire and for improvements such as Terraces, Garrisons, Cities, and Temples.

• thematically strong and well-designed board game about the Inca Empire;
• accessible rules with numerous tactical choices and great depth;
• dynamic action system: event cards expand, limit or change the effect of the standard actions; consequently,
each round and each game offers different possibilities;
• includes 3 game variations for even more variation and depth.

Others about Inca Empire

"The same classic game play with a new spiffy graphic design – hard to argue with that combination..." - W. Eric Martin, Boardgamenews.com

"If you like games with kernel, you can definitely add Inca Empire to your wishlist.” - Erwin Broens, Inca Empire Preview, Bordspel.com

"„Inca Empire“ ist ein strategisches Aufbauspiel mit einem interessanten Interaktionsmechanismus (Sonnenphase). [...] So wie es sich aber von den Regeln her liest, handelt es sich um ein schönes strategisches Bauspiel, welches eine neue Art von Interaktion zwischen den Spielern bietet (da eine Sonnenkarte immer zwei Spieler beeinflusst). [...] Wir sind auf jeden Fall gespannt... - Cliquenabend
